Save the date for the BC Primary Teachers' Association's upcoming virtual event: Going Deeper - Next Steps: ”Love Builds Brains”

You are invited to the BC Primary Teachers' Association's upcoming virtual event: 
Going Deeper - Next Steps: ”Love Builds Brains”  on Saturday, April 29th from 9am-12 noon.  Note: 
Tickets are not quite on sale yet but they're coming! Save the date and check back soon at  http://www.bcpta.ca/wordpress/

This event will start with introductions at 9:00 am followed by two sessions.

Tickets: 
$20 for BCTF members on-contract
$10 for TTOCs and Student Teachers
$50 for subscribers (Admin, Independent School Teachers, or out-of-province)

Session 1:  Dr. Jean Clinton MD, Clinical Professor at McMaster University and author of 'Love Builds Brains.'

Many of you will be familiar with her research as she was the Keynote at the Primary Teachers' October 2022 conference where she spoke on her special interest in brain development and the crucial roles of relationships and connectedness. 


Movement Break

Session 2:

During this time, teachers will have an opportunity to share ideas and concerns for approximately 1 hour following a short break. 

Conclusion: 12:00 noon
We will wrap up the day at noon. We hope you will be able to attend this special event where we can connect and learn together!
