Joining BCECTA
Fees:
- Any BCTF member can join BCECTA for $30
- B.C. University students, Student Teachers, or Retirees can join at the $15 subsidized rate
- Non-BCTF members can join as subscribers for an annual fee of $52.50
Membership includes:
- Access to resources that are responsive to your needs (request-based: tell us what you're hoping for!)
- Invitations to special events at a reduced or free rate
- Ability to reach out for help, mentoring, crises management, co-planning, sounding board, etc.
- Access to the BCECTA Teacher-Author Ambassador Program: virtual or in-person school visits from BC Teacher Authors whose books support the BC Curriculum, SEL, and anti-racism.
- Access to networks for Communities of Practice
- Email reminders of upcoming workshops and conferences with early bird rates
- E-Bulletins throughout the year
- Advocacy. We lobby the BC Teachers' Federation and the Ministry of Education on your behalf.

- Memberships run for 12 months from the date processed. They do not auto-renew.

- Some teachers may be eligible to claim their membership fee for pro-d reimbusement. (Local teachers' union PD funding regulations may vary.)
